The blanket does not contain seeds, is non toxic, produces no smells. The manufactured beads that give the blanket the weight are of an inert material, these are contained in their own individual sewn in pockets that are evenly distributed across the inner blanket. The outer blanket is machine washable whilst the inner blanket needs to be washed by hand.
The Weighted Baby Blanket manufactured by Orthopaedic Textiles, known as Grace Weighted Baby Blanket and Sleepyhead Weighted Baby Blanket has been tested by midwives, advised by occupational therapists and a microbiologist to produce a proven sensory sleep aid for babies.
